AFTERSCHOOL
Welcome to Afterschool
For children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old —
Cathedral Montessori’s Afterschool program is for all students currently enrolled. Parents may sign up at the time of enrollment for full-month or drop-in rates.
In Afterschool, children will have snack, the opportunity to go outside, and open-ended play with a team of loving and supportive teachers. Children will also work on arts and crafts and other activities based on time of year and holidays.
For Toddler and Primary students, we also offer a weekly soccer class through Soccer Stars.
Cathedral Montessori’s Afterschool program follows our school day (8A — 3P), running from 3 — 5:15P.

AFTERSCHOOL communityOur Afterschool program allows for open-ended play and various activities, including arts & crafts and soccer, in a slow-paced, peaceful environment with loving teachers. For Toddler and Primary, children are provided a snack and outside time on the playground. For Nido children, they will continue to follow their home schedule and nap/feed as needed based on their schedule and cues.
For pick-up, you may pick up your child(ren) any time between 3 — 5:15P.
AFTERSCHOOL outdoor spaceOur playground is designed by Green Space Learning, which specializes in early childhood and Montessori learning. With open space, a hill, and a slide, children in Afterschool are provided opportunities for large muscle movement and the benefits of outdoor play in a space created just for them.
For our Nido students, we also have a smaller, turfed area that allows for a safe, relaxing area to spend time outdoors.
AFTERSCHOOL COORDINATOR 
Hello! My name is Ashlyn Murrah and I am a dedicated child and family services professional with over 8 years of experience as a caregiver for children and adolescents, emphasizing holistic development, educational advancement, and overall well-being. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Services with a Spanish Minor from Abilene Christian University. I have also completed my Orientation Certificate for 3-6 from the Montessori Institute of North Texas.
